7 SENSATIONAL HOME TRANSFORMATIONS.

Would you like a sneak peek inside some gorgeous homes? We have 7 sensational transformations, a combo of renovations and new builds, which we can't wait to share with you. These projects are the hard work of 7 of our clever Reno School graduates. #soproud

They shared them with their fellow students in our Reno School Community and we were so impressed that we wanted to share them with you too. Enjoy!

It was completing Reno School, back in 2018, that sealed the deal for Amanda Dalton. She then knew that a knockdown rebuild, rather than a renovation, was going to be the best option to create her family’s dream home.

Amanda’s a mum of two girls, a wife, lover of all things home decor, styling, party planning and pretty much anything that involves a good cocktail! Her hubby is a plumber (always handy to have on your tradie dream team!) and they live on Hope Island, on the sunny Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia.

The Daltons designed, built and moved into their dream home in April 2020. Amanda shared her ‘home sweet new build home’ with us.

“Reno School gave me the skills and confidence to design our dream home!

If I hadn’t done the Reno School I wouldn’t have had the confidence to design and manage the build of our new home! We have been so blown away by the amazing feedback, but the credit is with the Three Birds and the countless hours spent watching all the episodes & drooling over all their projects!”

Light, bright and open spaces were top of Tiffany’s wishlist for the renovation of her 1980’s style family home… and judging by her pictures, her wishes ( aka hard work!) came to life.

There’s no sign of the former rundown, dark, outdated house, but rather a fresh new home that gives “a sense of calm as you walk through the door”. The perfect haven for her children to grow up in for many years to come.

“The Reno School gave me the tools to be confident in all of my choices for each and every space in the home. It allowed me to work with our builder and ensure that even the smallest of details wasn't overlooked whilst achieving our overall vision.”

“The Reno School and also the Facebook community has provided me with so much inspiration, support and encouragement during a lot of challenges whilst renovating during tough restrictions in Melbourne. I think that it has inspired a love of renovating and will be something I continue to do for many years into the future. I am already dreaming up our next project!”

What started as a quick renovation with the view to rebuild her holiday home in 10 years time, ended up in a full-blown reno and a stunning transformation. Situated on Sydney’s Northern Beaches with views of the ocean, ‘Ava’ is a holiday home to drool over.

With an expansive 180-degree ocean outlook, this Avalon beach house provides private, relaxed living and is just moments from the beach and village. Check out these pics!

“The Reno School has really exceeded my expectations! They step you through absolutely everything from great tips and tricks to their own experiences and examples from real renovation projects. Most importantly they helped me avoid making costly mistakes with their extensive checklists and questions to ask each of the trades before signing on the dotted line.

The Facebook group and discounts on offer are such great bonuses I don't think they can possibly add any more to this course!”

Having always worked in property development, Tam Wrigley had many a new build under her tool belt, but it was her ambition to grow her investment portfolio, by renovating properties, that clinched her sign up to Reno School. Tam’s latest project was a flip home that recently sold at auction, aka, The Brisbane Reno.

“I wanted to be very hands-on and get in there with the tradies and learn, but I wanted to go in with some knowledge of the renovation realm. I signed up to The Three Birds Renovations School and learnt so much from the very first module.

It's not just a new paint on walls and new carpet, renovation runs deeper than that and I learnt the fundamentals, the do's and don'ts and vital information and knowledge that I needed to make sure my entire renovation experience ran smoothly from inside the home to the outside space.”

“It was those little tips and takeaways that we just don't think of that helped with planning and budgeting. It is now my bible and it is something that I read over and over again to perfect each project I do.

The investment into this course is well worth it and you will make it back tenfold within the first project if you implement their teachings.”

Amanda and “golf fanatic” hubby, Pete, chose the site on which to build their family home because of the golf course frontage and the size of the block (4000 sqm) to have room for their kids to play and space from neighbours.

Situated in Tamworth, regional New South Wales, the Henderson’s literally built their dream from the ground up - and the result is impressive!

“I’ve been a Three Birds fan for a very long time and because I was always talking about them Pete surprised me with the February 2019 intake as a Christmas present. It was the best!

It helped me focus on my vision for this project and how the project would suit our lifestyle, the design aspect, colour palettes and styling. Worth every cent!”

“I love how user-friendly the course is and how the girls share all of their real-life experience with their projects, which are absolutely top-notch!”

Living in Sydney while renovating 3 hours South in Jervis Bay, meant lots of travelling for Saci Tsigouris… and her husband, who did most of the work to transform this property, ready for guests. Every weekend and every school holiday for 18 months were spent working to bring Saci’s vision to life.

We're so happy with the results and hope that our guests love it too!

As Becs’ family expanded from just her and hubby Alex to fur child… and then human child, so too did their home! Being lovers of minimalism, the feeling of serenity was a very important part of creating their family home along with being able to entertain outside.

“It was our first home together and a real labour of love.”

“RENO SCHOOL ROCKS! The Reno School segmented everything into doable chunks without losing sight of the bigger picture. It helped me cement my style (Relaxed Coastal Resort with a touch of industrial thanks to the husband’s 2c worth), and avoid many, many, many rabbit holes. Without the Three Birds and the wider community of birds, I’d have been lost!

Can’t wait for the next project — I feel like there is a whole village supporting me via our FB community.”
