“I just wanted to thank Three Birds for their special with Beacon Lighting. I would have never met with a lighting consultant but now I swear by it! I am doing a whole house reno in a few weeks and I’m feeling a bit of decision fatigue & needed a bit of help. I met with Claire at the Beacon in Claremont Perth & she was amazing!! We went over my entire house plan (which I emailed her) and my vision board (of course) and she went over my electrical plans and gave me some fantastic advice. She cut out a few pendants (ok so I guess more isn’t always more!) and added some amazing things like led strips in laundry & scullery and the motion sensor stair lights that I hadn’t thought of. Changed my fans to ones that actually suit the room size. Took away a few unnecessary downlights and added some gimble downlights in my hallway. We did the whole external of the house which I had decided to avoid for now. So happy that’s done too! She put together a fantastic lighting plan including pictures of my lights that my builder can use as well. He was quite impressed too. Highly recommend this service!!”

Yep, you’d be right in thinking us Birds have a soft spot for gas-strut windows. We’ve used them in all-but-one of our houses and just can’t get enough of them.
Why? These babies really are the bee’s knees. With a single nudge, they pop upwards and outwards as if motorised. When you’re ready to shut the window, I’ll admit, you have to use a little more effort but hey it’s a great work-out for your arms and in the words of Ice-T #putyourbackintoit.
So let me say again, we lurve a gas-strut window and think that you probably need one in your life too!
