“Could a tradie could SAVE your marriage!?” Really? How so? Hey, don’t get me wrong, I’ve met some good tradies across our reno projects. They turned up on time, did a quality job, they were fast, on budget, friendly, and on occasion - easy on the eye, but how that translates into saving a marriage is beyond me. In fact, based on my fading recollection of Desperate Housewives, I thought the buff-bodied Pool-Boy/Gardener was not really helping Eva Longoria’s marriage at all.

So with the pressure on I was quite reluctant to take a day out to write this blog (yes it takes me that long). Surely this is how the Masterchef contestants feel when there’s 3 mins left on the clock, they’ve just burnt their sauce (and fingers) and suddenly Matt Preston appears for a quick interview. Argh!! Read MoreI remember. It was 12yrs ago and myself, Bonnie and Erin were at a nightclub (god knows where) and we were badgering the DJ (poor guy) to play “Let’s Get It Started” for us.
