GOODBYE HOUSE 5, WE MISS YOU ALREADY xo
They say time flies when you're having fun and that's certainly been our experience with this little fibro transformation. It took us 8 weeks (our longest reno ever!) but it was worth it! Even though we'd done four houses before this beauty we still tried lots of new things. Here are some of the "firsts" for us with this house.

+ Our first gas-strut window which didn't have a servery
+ Our first pink front door
+ Our first picture window
+ Our first striped awning
+ Our first black bath
+ Our first (miniature) skylight
+ Our first Juju Hat (just kidding)
But in all seriousness, this house was so special to us because of the heartbreaking story behind it. That's a story that can only be told in Bonnie's words and you can see that in Episode Two if you haven't already.
Despite the sad story of House 5, it was an uplifting experience and the final outcome was a tribute to the boys and their mum who once lived there. We're so happy we could save it from being knocked down and turn it into a beautiful home for a new family to come and create new memories in.
On a (much) lighter note, we loved sharing the journey with you via Three Birds TV and realestate.com.au. You guys saw the final edits but there were lots of bloopers (mainly from Bon and Ez) and shenanigans (mainly from Lana) along the way. We wanted to share them with you - enjoy ;-))
