We love a good challenge, and in this area of the home, we had mighty big ones flung at us from all angles!

Right from the start we knew that the entire lower level of the house needed some major excavation works to make it legally habitable, then throw in some damp issues and the predicament of how to incorporate the guest quarters into the main entrance of the home, and we had a great big meaty challenge on our hands.

This grand home needed a grand entrance that provides a warm welcome that’s both beautiful and functional. Somewhere to throw your keys, drop your bags and kick off your shoes… while also looking good enough for guests to sleep when required… and doubling as a pool house when you’re not hosting said guests. Challenge accepted!
