The main living room is always going to be the most used room in our house. It’s a gorgeous open space, surrounded by so much natural light. Yeah, so much that my Mum insists on wearing her sunglasses while she relaxes on the lounge.
I wanted this room to be totally casual and inviting, but totally chic. Think relaxed but luxe… that’s a thing, right? Let’s call it ‘re-luxe’… sounds a bit like reflux. Urgh, no. The living space/media room on the middle level was a tough nut to crack from a styling perspective. We chose the gorgeous teal couch (from BoConcept) very early in the reno and knew it was going to pack a punch in that room.
