IT'S A NICE DAY FOR A WINDSOR WEDDING
We were still recovering from all the feels of the House 12 “big reveal” to its owners when, just a week later, the waterworks were flowing all over again!
As if an 8-week full home reno isn’t stressful enough, Lana thought it would be a brilliant idea to offer to host Cath and Sarah’s nearest and dearest for a super special occasion, at their ‘new’ home, just days after completion.
Lucky for the ladies (and Lana!), Bonnie and Erin worked as Event Managers in their pre-Birds lives so we couldn’t have asked for a better pair to whip up a wedding in a matter of weeks and we were honoured to witness these gorgeous ladies walk straight out of iso, into “I DO”.
Check out our happy snaps from the most beautiful Windsor Wedding since Harry & Megs’…
There wasn’t a dry eye in the house (or garden!) as our two beautiful brides made their way through their new home and into the backyard for an intimate, COVID-sized ceremony (with plenty of COVID-safe touches, like the beautifully scented Leif hand sanitiser.)
It’s almost as though the curved bench seat and Besser block walls were created for this very event! They were actually designed well before Lana threw a wedding into the mix, but how perfect was this area for the backdrop for the ceremony?!
We used James Hardie Villaboard, HardiePanel and Hardietex to create the structure of the bench seat, with Besser block walls either side. Then painted the whole structure with Dulux Texture Primer and Paint to create the bagged render finish.
The fabulous floral installations, from The Make Haus, flowed throughout the garden, accompanied by an “All you need is love” neon sign from Electric Confetti.
At the close of the ceremony, the brides cut the stunning cake from Sweet Treats Cakery while guests mingled to the dulcet tunes of, aptly named, Big Love Music, and toasted the new wives with Tamburlaine wines.
And they all lived happily ever after…
