This week we’re upstairs, sprinkling some magic to turn the boring master bedroom into a super-spesh boudoir for these busy parents. We couldn’t change the size of the room, so instead we went to town with a cosmetic makeover.
I think you’re going to love it because it’s an easy project that you can replicate in your own home, even if a big reno isn’t on the cards #copycatswelcome
Read MoreAre you ready for a peek at what’s upstairs? This week we’re dealing to that dingy staircase with its daggy old carpet and also revealing the Master Suite. If you’re a fan of tiles and panelled walls, it’s time to get excited!
We wanted to spoil this couple with a super-spesh retreat of their very own. We couldn’t change the size of the room, so instead we went to town with all the deets in the bedroom and ensuite #4differenttiles #panelledwalls #buildinbenchseat
Read MoreWe like to think of the kitchen as the heart of the home and this home really needed some focus on its heart health! The kitchen was dark and pokey, positioned in the middle of the house and just way too small for a family of five. She was crying out for a full overhaul!
Let’s take a look at how we whipped her into shape…
Read MoreWe know y’all go crazy for kitchen week so make some noise… the kitchen, dining and lounge reveal is coming in HOT!
The previous kitchen was teeny tiny and not at all practical for a family of five, so we set out to make them a bigger, better, beautiful new space to live and to entertain. The Bonnie and Ronnie dream team once again worked their design magic to create an eat-in kitchen that dreams are made of. It just oozes Hamptons charm!
Read MoreA spray tan makes everything look better! Am I right, gang? Well, the same goes for a tired house façade, there’s nothing like a spray of paint to make an old girl glow again.
Read MoreIf you’re lucky enough to have a house with a defined front entry, I say embrace it baby! It’s more than just a thoroughfare to the rest of your home, it should set the tone for your whole vision, so you want it to be welcoming as well as functional.
Ready to strut your stuff? Here are 5 simple but effective ways to transform your entry:
Read MoreFor our 11th house it was time to mix things up a little. We asked these brave homeowners to handover their keys, their budget and all creative license… and they agreed! So, we sent them on their merry way and jumped into action stations to create the family home they’ve always dreamed of.
Read MoreIt’s been our bible for the whole reno journey. When it came to choosing paint colours, tiles, flooring, furniture, light fittings (you get the gist!)… guess who we turned to first? Ye olde faithful vision board! That’s right, she’s got all the answers right there on one page.
Read MoreIt’s safe to say we have a penchant for white. Dulux White on White, Casper White Quarter, Lexicon Half… give us ALL the white! But that doesn’t mean we don’t like to use colour in our projects too – heck, check out the River Shack! And there’s good reason House 11 is hashtagged #COLOURmehamptons #spoileralert

Read MoreFor our eleventh project we’re back on home turf, in suburban Sydney. Home to a lovely family of five, this house is your typical Aussie plain Jane, double-storey, brick build. She’s on a great sized block but is definitely lacking street appeal.
Read MoreWho doesn’t love a sticky beak at other people’s renos? If your hand’s not up we don’t believe you! That’s why we want to show you 5 beautiful bathrooms we love… not ours this time. These bathrooms are the hard work of 5 Reno School students. They shared them with their fellow students in the Reno School Facebook group and we were so impressed that we wanted to share them with you too.
Read MoreIt’s official! Our most asked question, like EVER, has got to be:
“Which white paint colour shall I choose?”
Great question! But, to be honest, there’s no set-in-stone answer. Call me horrifically biased, but Dulux White on White for interiors and Dulux Snowy Mountains Quarter for exteriors, like we used at my place, are two of my faves.
Read MoreOoooh, boy! The excitement is mounting for Sophie’s open home already and all this chat about it has me flashing back to Bonnie’s first (and last!) open home on that glorious winter day last year.
It was such a thrill to meet so many keen and lovely Reno Schoolers who came from far and wide to have a squiz at Bon’s place. Excuse all my gratuitous shoulder rubs as you arrived, I was so pumped to have you all there in the flesh!
