THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT BAR STOOLS

It seems that our Three Birds Gang have a bit of a thing for bar stools! Remember the timber and black ‘tractor stools’ we used in House 4? Bonnie picked them because the black legs complemented the black knobs and the tap in the kitchen. We had no idea that they’d become the most asked about furniture we’d used - EVER!

And then you guys nearly broke the internet, selling out Ziggy stools like the ones Bonnie used in her dream home, overnight! They’re the ones at the main island bench… not to be confused with the three other styles of bar stools Bon chose for her dream home! #nothingbyhalves

ISLAND DINING IN THE HEART OF THE HOME

We always say that ‘the kitchen is the hub of the home’ but this kitchen truly is the beating heart of this home and the star of the show is the island bench.

Louisa had always dreamed of a statement island bench, topped with gorgeous marble-look stone and this one is unlike any other we’ve done before. It needed to be taller than standard to cater for Louisa’s taller than average height, have the induction cooktop contained in the island (big tick from Erin!) and be two-tiered with the cooking area up top and dining table below.
